Rules And Regulations For Students And Guardians

  1. Darul Uloom is a Deeni madrasa in its essence. Its primary objective is to imbibe Islamic education & instill spiritual values in the students. Contemporary subjects are included only to impart to the students an ability to serve Islam and mankind at large.
  2. The uniform of the Darul Uloom is a part of its discipline & educational methodology. Hence, the dress code and the etiquettes should be in complete accordance with the Shariah. Clothes that do not comply with the Shariah & the norms of the Darul Uloom will be strictly prohibited. Flouting the stipulations of the Shariah in any manner may lead to the student being disqualified from the course.
  3. All aspects of the educational programme and its schedule along with the ethical training and the co-curricular activities are equally important. Therefore, all students are expected to pay equal attention and whole-heartedly participate in all aspects of the course.
  4. Salah - compulsorily in congregation (Jamaat), Rememberance of Allah (Dhikr), Reciting of the Quran (Tilawat) and other allied activities are critical for the personal development and the spiritual training of the students. Negligence in this regard could also lead to the expulsion of the student from the Darul Uloom. Hence it is of paramount importance that the students faithfully abide by these on their own.
  5. The management, the teachers and the care-takers in the Darul Uloom ceaselessly put in their best efforts for the personal, moral and academic development of the students. Hence, it is the duty (wajib) of every student to behave with them with utmost love and respect.
  6. To maintain a spirit of brotherhood and harmony, students are advised to interact with their classmates and their room partners with love, respect, empathy and humility. They are encouraged to show kindness, compassion, a spirit of forgiveness and a humble inclination to seek forgiveness from one another. Those students who are aggressive, obstinate & indulge in quarrels will not be tolerated in the Darul Uloom.
  7. Each and every thing in the Darul Uloom is provided for the use, ease and facilitation of the students. Hence, to damage any of the amenities or equipments amounts to causing inconvenience to one’s own self. Therefore, it is the duty of every student to ensure the safety of the facilities provided, utilize them carefully, and place them in their designated places after use.
  8. Any activity other than the activities covered in the course shall be permit- ted only after an explicit approval from the responsible people of the Darul Uloom. The guardians of the students will be responsible for any harm caused to any other institution or student due to such activities.
  9. Students are not allowed to go out of the premises of the Darul Uloom without the prior express permission of the Principal/Vice-Principal/Con- cerned Authorities of the Darul Uloom. The student who disregards this rule will be fully responsible for any resulting physical or academic harm. The guardians will be responsible for taking the students home for their
  10. vacation & bringing them back to the Darul Uloom at the end of the vacation. The guardians will also be responsible to take the student home in the
  11. eventuality of an illness wherein sending the student home is deemed necessary. Relatives other than the guardians will be permitted to meet the students
  12. only if they have a request letter signed by the guardian.The guardians are not allowed to give the students mobile phones, video
  13. games, electronic items and any other expensive things. The guardians are expected to express their views & suggestions politely
  14. for the development of the Darul Uloom.A written request is mandatory to leave the Darul Uloom. The right to
  15. accept or reject the request fully rests with the management.Students are not allowed to become a member of any organisation/
  16. society. They are not allowed to participate in any anti-national activity whatsoever.Students are supposed to follow all written and oral instructions
  17. periodically given by the administration of the Darul Uloom.
